Pieces will be ready for pick-up 4 weeks after the session at Beit Kotn.
Threshold Objects is a hand-building workshop exploring hospitality through clay.
Inspired by gestures of welcome across MENA households and traditions of gathering, participants will create small ceramic forms that sit at the edge of arrival- objects that receive, witness, hold, or quietly wait.
Participants may create small objects that hold offerings, mark entry, carry traces of touch, or exist simply as forms of welcome.
No prior clay experience is required. The workshop is open to all levels. Materials and firing costs all inclusive.
